During his fifth year at the University of Notre Dame, David continued to excel, demonstrating his versatility and leadership on and off the field.

Over his collegiate career, David maintained a batting average of over .300 and hit 15 home runs, showcasing his ability to deliver consistent power and production. His summer playing in the prestigious Cape Cod League further honed his skills, providing valuable experience against some of the best amateur players in the country.
